Purpose:
The Sharpening System has three different stones, each for a different task. The coarse stone restores badly worn cutting edges, the medium stone produces the average edge needed for many tools, and the fine stone hones the knife to produce a keen sharp edge. For good stone performance, lubricate the stone prior to each use.
